George J Hruza, MD, Medical Director
Dr. Hruza is an Adjunct Professor of Dermatology at St. Louis University and Director of the Laser & Dermatologic Surgery by appointment only Our Dedicated Staff Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his medical degree from New York University at the top of his class and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Societies. He completed his dermatology residency at New York University Medical Center followed by a laser surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School and a Mohs and dermatologic surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with Dr. Fred Mohs, developer of the Mohs surgery technique for precise skin cancer removal. Dr. Hruza is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, American Board of Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, and American Board of Laser Surgery. Before his current position, he was an Associate Professor of Dermatology, Otolaryngology and Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. He has been on the Best Doctors list for more than fifteen years Dr. Hruza serves as Assistant Editor of Dermatologic Surgery for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, on the editorial boards of Lasers in Surgery and Medicine and Journal of Cosmetic and Laser Therapy, on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology and United Skin Specialists, and on the Council of the Missouri State Medical Association. He is Past President of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He has contributed more than 140 publications to the medical literature, including three textbooks on laser surgery, and has lectured on four continents about laser surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer, and skin surgery.
KATHLEEN M. NEMER, MD
Kathleen M. Nemer, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and specializes in the prevention and early diagnosis of skin cancers, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. She is currently accepting new patients for Mohs micrographic surgery, general dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology.
Prior to joining Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center, Dr. Nemer completed a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology at Washington University School of Medicine. During her fellowship, she received the highest level of training in skin cancer surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery, post-skin cancer reconstruction, laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Nemer received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and her residency in Dermatology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine. Prior to entering fellowship, Dr. Nemer worked as a general dermatologist at Washington University School of Medicine and the Department of Veteran Affairs in St. Louis.
Dr. Nemer is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Medical Association. She has authored over a dozen scientific articles, several book chapters, and has presented at numerous national dermatologic meetings.
Outside of dermatology, Dr. Nemer enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel, cooking, and fitness. She has completed many long-distance races and enjoys training with a local running group.
Mary McKaig, RN
Mary is our cosmetic registered nurse. She joined the Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center in 2003, and has been specializing in the care, treatment and enhancement of skin in the cosmetic dermatology setting since 2000. Mary received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. Previous to cosmetic dermatology she worked as a telemetry and pediatric nurse. Mary has extensive experience and training in lasers, injectables, peels and skin rejuvenation techniques. Mary likes to use treatment strategies to keep her clients looking natural and enhancing their personal beauty. She is available for consultations by appointment.
Donna Sinibaldi, PA-C
Donna Sinibaldi is a Certified Physician Assistant with more than 20 years of experience. She joined Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center in 2013 and aids in the treatment of skin cancer surgery under the direction and care of our Mohs Surgeons, Dr. Hruza and Dr. Nemer.
From 2005-2012 she worked for Kaiser Permanente in the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and from 2001-2005 she worked in the Department of Emergency Medicine, also at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, California. Donna received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of
Missouri-Columbia in 1991 and her Masters of Health Science and Physician Assistant degree in 1999 from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
She is a NCCPA certified and in her free time, Donna enjoys hiking and traveling and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
