Step Up Your Spring Skin Care Routine

What to do? Here are two great ways to begin:

  1. Hydrate: Invest in a good facial moisturizer with a built-in sunscreen and you won’t regret it. You should have been keeping your skin moist during the winter months…but now that the sun is about to pay us daily visits, moisture plus sunscreen are absolutely essential for summer soft skin.
  2. Exfoliate: The chilly, dry winter air is very harsh on your skin; sloughing off winter’s dead skin cells can renew, refresh and revive your skin. You can exfoliate gently at home by using a soft washcloth or, if you want an easy DIY scrub recipe, you can mix granulated sugar with honey or olive oil for a extra bit of hydration. Be gentle, and don’t tug at your skin or rub it vigorously. The goal is to work up to exfoliating two to three times a week. The best time to do it is in the shower while your facial skin is moist and warm.
